Kennedy was an absolute sweetheart waitress. The eggs Benedict was great and the well done hash browns were perfection! Very crowded on a Monday morning at 10:00am but so worth the wait. Food came out hot and delicious. The decor is so beautiful.
This is an excellent place to get breakfast! Tried the German Pancake and Old-fashioned French Toast, both were great! The French toast was made with sourdough bread and was really tasty. The eggs were fresh and the bacon was thick! The hashbrowns were just ok. The service was pretty good. Next time I want to try the shakes.
Great food. Great service. Cooks who care. (Not my story). Table next to me ordered a prime rib. And then sent it back because it was “too spicy”. They refunded her the money. And let her order another meal. The chef can put and apologized and asked how he could fix it. First of all. If you can’t eat basic salt and pepper, don’t order meat. Second of all. Props to the chef for keeping the “the customer is always right” mindset alive. I Can respect that a lot. Five stars.

Nice place with a great vibe. The food was pretty good. The ham & egg scramble was a bit smaller than I thought but filling non the less. The biscuits & gravy was way more food for the money and delicious to boot.

Amazing food as always. The German pancake was excellently presented and despite the sad appearance of the chicken, the chicken and waffles were very tasty. I liked it with maple syrup on it.
We were told Smitty’s Pancake & Steak House was an Idaho Falls institution. It was great for breakfast. We got the German Pancake and loved it. I had the cinnamon glazed apple filling and the person I was with did fresh strawberry and bananas. I’ll definitely do that topping next time. We got bacon on the side and loved it. The interior is well decorated for a building that age. Our server was great. We will definitely be back.
